Over the years, company cars in Belgium have become an indispensable tool to
attract and retain key talent. The need for good information is becoming more
and more crucial to be in line with the market and the competition.
In 2008, Hewitt performed its eleventh biennial Company Car Survey 2008 – 2009.
Final results were published last December. The study counts 49 participating
companies. Hewitt has not only analysed the different policies of these
companies, but also did a thorough screening of their full fleet.
The study report is split up in two parts. The first part focuses on the
policies. The questions in relation to the car policy were divided up into six
employee categories (general manager, top management, middle management, sales
representatives, field employees and white collared employees). The second part
looks at the individual fleet cars. This covers in total about 9,308 company
cars with info on their drivers (job title, salary, target bonus). Based on
this wealth of information, an analysis is performed for various salary bands
and a detailed picture (salary, target bonus, target total cash, car list
price, lease budget, typical makes and models, etc.) is provided for 58
positions across various job families.
The study is helpful in monitoring your current policy or in setting up a new
policy. It is typically offering a representative sample of the market and
allows you to have a good picture of what is going on in the field of company
cars in a number of companies in Belgium. Why else should you purchase the
report? You obtain, at a reasonable price, full up-to-date and complete
information on the matter for a group of leading companies in general industry.
A copy of the full report in English is available at 1,050 Euro (VAT excluded).
If you are interested, please complete the purchase reply sheet linked below,
