Urs Schaffner Appointed Managing Director of Hewitt Associates in Switzerland

LONDON – Hewitt Associates, a global human resources services company, has today announced the appointment of Urs Schaffner as managing director of Hewitt Associates in Switzerland.

Urs Schaffner joined Hewitt Associates in September 2007. He was previously a global partner and head of Mercer's Swiss pension fund consulting operations. He is also a part-time lecturer at several technical colleges and sits on the examination board for pension actuaries. Urs Schaffner is the author of two specialist books which are standard reference works for occupational benefits decision-makers. He holds a PhD, a degree in pension insurance studies and a CFA designation.
