AMSTERDAM, NL – Hewitt Associates, a global human resources consulting and outsourcing company, has appointed Reinoud van den Broek as managing director of its Dutch operations. Reinoud van den Broek will head Hewitt's Consulting services in the company's three offices in the Dutch market, in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven.  By appointing Reinoud van den Broek, Hewitt increases its focus on the integrated consulting approach for actuarial and retirement advice, rewards and executive compensation, international benefits, pan-European pensions consulting and investment consulting.

Reinoud van den Broek joins Hewitt from Robeco, a Dutch based institutional asset management firm, where he was their executive vice president and head of Global Business Development, Institutional Sales and Account Management. Prior to that, among other roles, he had been CEO and president of Achmea Pensioenen in the Netherlands and manager Employee Benefits at Nationale Nederlanden. Reinoud van den Broek holds a Master's Degree in Business Economics, specialising in Insurance Economics, from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He is 41 and married with three children

Reinoud van den Broek succeeds Jan Pater, Hewitt's current managing director for the Netherlands, who becomes European Business Operations leader, a new role within Hewitt.
