New Report Analyses Pay and Performance Practices
|
LONDON - Hewitt Associates, a global human resources consulting and outsourcing company, has published Managing Compensation in Europe, a comprehensive review of management and employee reward practices across the continent.
Managing Compensation in Europe analyses compensation by employee level across individual markets. The report highlights reward levels as well insights into the prevalence of different types of benefits and perquisites, package structures and long-term incentives – along with explanation and insight from Hewitt's expert consultants.
Robert Miller, Senior European Reward Consultant at Hewitt Associates, said:
"Over the course of the longest running bull market in history Europe's economies experienced strong growth – and this was mirrored in pay packages. However, as markets have contracted, the picture has changed and employee compensation has inevitably felt the impact. Organisations across Europe are now reviewing their compensation practices to ensure that they deliver maximum return on compensation spending as well as attracting, retaining and motivating different segments of the workforce.
"This report allows companies to measure their own practices against their peers in European countries. At a time when they are facing regulatory pressures from governments and calls for transparency from stakeholders, Managing Compensation in Europereveals trends in compensation practices to help companies in their decision making during turbulent times."
The information included in the report is drawn from Hewitt's Total Compensation Measurement™ (TCM), a global compensation database, as well as research conducted over recent months including the Hewitt European Salary Increase Survey.
