Hewitt initiated the Top Companies for Leaders research in 2001. We set our sights to identify the combinations of factors that allow financially successful organisations to consistently produce great leaders. We examined the variables that influence a leader's growth in an organisation, including development of experiences, senior leader interaction, compensation, organisational culture and succession panning processes.
