LONDON - Hewitt Associates, a global human resources consulting and outsourcing company, today announced that it has been appointed to provide scheme actuary and investment consultancy services to the AA Pension Scheme, following a review conducted by the trustees of the AA Pension scheme.

The AA is the UK's leading breakdown organisation, with over 15 million members and more dedicated patrols than any other roadside assistance provider.  The AA also offers financial services including car and home insurance, savings and loans and a host of other products and services for motoring and travel.

David Eteen of Hewitt has been appointed as scheme actuary and John Belgrove of Hewitt as investment consultant to the AA Pension Scheme. Hewitt will provide the full range of actuarial and investment services including guidance on funding, risk management advice, strategic investment advice, and monitoring of fund managers.
