  This is an interactive series of Indices which shows the aggregate funding level of the pension funds of companies in a number of equity indices from around the world on an "accounting" and "wind-up"/"Settlement" basis. The charts plot both the assets and liabilities of these pension funds, based on figures disclosed in publicly available accounts. All figures are updated daily.

  The Hewitt Buy-in Barometer is an on-line tool that has been developed by our specialist Pension Risk Transfer team. The tool will allow you to calculate an estimate of the cost of insuring the benefits of pensioners in your scheme through a UK insurer.

• Hewitt Global Longevity Tracker
  The Hewitt Global Longevity Tracker is an on-line tool which allows you to explore the observed longevity trends from 40 countries around the world. This tool allows you to answer questions such as "How does life expectancy in the UK compare with the US?"; or "How much faster has life expectancy improved in Japan compared with the UK?".
• Mortality Assumption Comparator
  Enables Trustees and Sponsors of defined benefit pension schemes in the UK to understand the potential impact on the value placed on the scheme's liabilities if the assumption for future improvements in life expectancy (referred to as the longevity or mortality assumption) is changed. The tool provides an indicative percentage increase in liabilities which is appropriate for most common funding bases such as accounting and technical provisions.
