Our mission is making the world a better place to work and that starts with making the world a better place.
Many companies give to their communities. We’re proud to be a company that leaps at the chance.
We go the extra mile to ensure that our efforts make a real difference in the communities where we
live and work around the world. Learn more about how Hewitt is making a difference in our community by reading
our Hewitt Cares Report.
Hewitt has a proud history of serving and supporting the community. In addition to company
donations to national and international causes, we encourage and support our associates to volunteer in their
local communities, we support executives to serve on charitable boards, we offer pro bono services to not-for-profit causes and we support associate giving through an annual Hewitt Cares Campaign.
Community Partnerships
Amazing things happen when people have the support and the resources they need to succeed. By
partnering with a group of exceptional community partners, we are able to truly make an impact in the lives
of those less fortunate. Our community partners include several not-for-profit education and human service
organizations working to provide direct services in their communities. We're able to help by providing financial
grants, volunteers, pro-bono work, and thought leadership via strategic partnerships with not-
for-profit organizations providing direct services.
Granting
We provide funding to support the activities of our not-for-profit partners through both corporate
granting and associate giving.
Sweat Equity
We support our associates' volunteer involvement in their communities. Our "Hewitt Time for
Hewitt Concerns" program gives associates in North America voluntary time off each year to give back to their
communities.
Board Stewardship
Our leaders serve on various boards providing thought leadership across diverse issues, including
workforce readiness, health management, financial security, and change management.
In-Kind Donations and Pro-Bono Services
We provide pro-bono human resources consulting (including compensation studies, retention
strategies, and competency definitions) to not-for-profit organizations that could not otherwise afford them.
We also make in-kind donations, which have included call centers, printing, technology, real estate space, and
other services.
Matching Gifts Program
Established in memory of founder Ted Hewitt, we match U.S. associate contributions up to $500 to
secondary and collegiate education institutions.
