During an award ceremony April 16, 2008 in New York City, the Human Resources Outsourcing Association (HROA) announced that Dell and Hewitt were the recipients of the award for Benefits Outsourcing Relationship of the Year.

The award recognizes the recent work Dell and Hewitt did to enable participants in mutiple retirement and equity award plans to see the total value of their accounts, as well as their health and welfare benefit information in one place.

Dell Senior Manager of Global Benefits Liz Hill said, "Innovation is very important to Dell and, as such, my philosophy on vendor management is to pick a service provider who is willing to innovate with you. I am always willing to raise my hand to be the 'pilot' and Hewitt knows that if we sign up to be a pilot that our team will engage with them in a collaborative work effort to create an innovative solution."
