HEWITT DEVELOPS HEALTH CARE REFORM REPORTS FOR BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE

Business Roundtable, an association of chief executive officers of leading U.S. companies, recently commissioned Hewitt Associates to develop two reports on health care reform. In September 2009, Hewitt developed a first report entitled Health Care Reform: The Perils of Inaction and the Promise of Effective Action. The report explores the cost of inaction around health care reform and identifies ways to build an improved and more efficient delivery system. In November 2009, Hewitt developed a second report for the Business Roundtable entitled Health Care Reform: Creating a Sustainable Health Care Marketplace. This report evaluates health care reform through the lens of the private sector and projects the likely effect of proposed legislative changes on employer health care costs.
