Hewitt introduces new tool to improve employees' financial retirement readiness. Organizations can now gain important insights into how well their retirement programs prepare employees for retirement, and learn how to best leverage resources for program improvements, with Hewitt's Retirement Results IndexTM. This modeling tool helps plan sponsors understand the overall retirement preparedness of their employee populations, as well as the retirement preparedness of specific employee segments.

Quicken®-branded health care products pioneered by Hewitt. Along with leading health care companies, including UnitedHealthcare, Optima Health, and Exante Financial Services, Hewitt has launched an initiative with Intuit and Ingenix to introduce a series of Quicken-branded products that will simplify health care management and improve decision making in the same way Quicken revolutionized personal finance. Millions of consumers will be able to view and organize information from a variety of sources, including medical bills, insurance payments, and medical records, in one easy-to-use system.

HR outsourcing center opens in Poland. Hewitt recently opened a new service center in Krakow to increase the company's ability to serve their growing number of European and global outsourcing clients. The center provides HR BPO services, as well as pension administration and software development. A well-educated and multilingual workforce and a sophisticated communication and transportation infrastructure were prime factors in selecting the Krakow site.

Hewitt supports arts for disadvantaged children in Brazil. The children of Uberlândia in central Brazil will have the opportunity to expand their cultural horizons, thanks to Hewitt's partnership with Grupontapé. This local theater troupe will provide biweekly classes for 100 children as a way to keep them engaged in learning and off the streets after school. Hewitt is also sponsoring a drawing competition for all public school children in Uberlândia, with the first prize a Flash media course. A DVD showcasing the children's artwork will be presented to the community.

New Hewitt.com delivers enhanced functionality and insight. There's a new look to Hewitt.com this year, but, more important, there are many new features to enhance the visitor's experience, such as improved navigation tools, topical searches, and email-friendly content. The Web site features HR articles provided by Hewitt consultants around the world, as well as the latest research reports, industry news updates, and the online version of Hewitt magazine.
